Respiratory illness in horses confined in stalls is a common problem, many times brought on by irritating ammonia odors released from urine saturated bedding. Commercial products are available that claim to reduce or remove ammonia odors from horse stalls.

Comparison of Horse Bedding Absorbents For Ammonia Odor Control
	This test was developed to compare the efficacy of some of those products in comparison to ZeQuine™ ODOR•LOC™
Results: ZeQuine™ ODOR•LOC™ has superior ammonia absorption capacity compared to three other leading Stall Bedding products. Initial odor reduction is good and over time the ammonia removal capacity appears to be 4 to 5 times better than the other leading brands.

Comparison of Moisture Holding Capacity and Cation Exchange in Horse-Stall Odor Absorbent Products
	Several mineral absorbents sold as horse-stall odor absorbents were compared for moisture holding capacity and cation exchange capacity.
Results: Products with high moisture holding capacity and high CEC are the best products for reducing harmful wetness and odor in stalls. ZeQuine™ ODOR•LOC™ as shown in the study is far superior to any other products in the marketplace.
